Branding Exercises
BOWERS & WILKINS BRAND UPDATE
Bowers & Wilkins represents the pinnacle in performance audio. They coined the term "sound the way the artist intended", as that is what John Bowers intended from his designs. Today, through marketing, most audio companies look and sound the same. Our task was to create a modern brand identity that had a distinct presence deserved of a brand with a 50+ year heritage of high-performance audio.
SUNEDISON LOGO REDESIGN PROJECT
SunEdison wanted to update their logo as they were expanding their business to all forms of renewable energy, expanding past solar. The new logo had many requirements including, stay true to the solar roots, ensuring the future was not tied to only solar, and the new logo needed to work for our other businesses, including financial services.

The updated Sun is shown in a single color to provide a modern feel and clear presence without feeling trendy. The "rays" of the sun also represent wind turbine blades as this was one of the key new business investments. This also worked for our new Terraform business as it allowed them to be a separate but connected entity from SunEdison. Our chosen font was manipulated in weight to show an emphasis on Edison while still reading as SunEdison.
